Levi piles on the pressure as Superbike season unfolds

Well, there’s no doubting the raw ambition, tenacity and pure will to win of Levi Day, the British Championships motorbike contender sponsored by AJN Steelstock Ltd.

In his latest two-day race at Snetterton race track, Levi clinched a podium place by coming third in both the Saturday and Sunday sessions with a nail biting over-the-line tussle on Sunday with Levi fending off some serious competition.

As well as being ‘placed’ in each race, Levi has added to his championship points tally, building nicely to an end of season superbike thriller.

Australian born Levi (27), is racing this season in the British Championships Ducati Tri Options Cup where all the competing superbikes are of the same standard and the difference between first and second place is all a matter of riding experience and technique. All the bikes are of a similar standard with very few modifications allowed, making for an extremely competitive class of racing.

Levi’s first race of the season was at Donnington Park in April, which saw him take the trophy for top spot among the 899cc category.

Alan Boyden, joint managing director of AJN Steelstock said; “Superbike racing is one of the most competitive and exhilarating sports around and the Ducati Tri Options Cup is an incredibly demanding series of races.

“Levi’s infections enthusiasm, his determination, coupled with his ‘will to win’ makes it an absolute pleasure to be supporting him as he makes his bid for superbike glory.”
