Over 138 tonnes of processed steel was recently supplied by AJN for the construction of a new £30.5 million cancer diagnostic and treatment centre in Guildford, funded by Assura.
Due for completion in Q4 2023, the cancer centre, fabricated and built by leading building and fabrication specialists, features a number of beams, columns, channels and angles.
With the highest standards for functionality and sustainability in mind, the cancer centre, developed by Prime plc in partnership with GenesisCare and the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, will provide patients with access to the latest treatment options for cancer, including highly targeted radiotherapy using a Magnetic Resonance Image Linear Accelerator (MR Linac).
