Leading UK steel stockholder, AJN Steelstock, has announced a continued partnership with British Superstock Contender, Levi Day, for the 2021 season, extending their association for the fifth year.
Levi Day will return to the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship in 2021, competing for the podium on the Suzuki GSX-R1000 as part of the Powerslide Motorcycles – AJN Steelstock team.
Australian born Levi, (31), competed in the Ducati Tri Options Cup in 2020, claiming five victories and a further four podium finishes. He ended his campaign second overall – missing the top spot by a narrow seven points.
Alan Boyden, Joint Managing Director of AJN Steelstock, comments, “We’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with Levi. His infectious enthusiasm and determination, coupled with his raw talent and an unquestionable ‘will to win’, makes it an absolute pleasure to be supporting him as he continues to make his bid for superbike glory.”
Levi made his debut in the Superstock 1000 class in 2019 and ended that campaign as the top rookie. He finished ninth overall that year and has his sights firmly set on more podium finishes for the 2021 Championship.
“I am really stoked to represent AJN Steelstock again and owe them a big thank you for their continued support,” adds Levi. “Without them, I would not be able to race at the level I currently compete at.
“I’m forever grateful to the people who support me to allow me to chase my dreams and I’m looking forward to working hard to achieve the results we both want to achieve and continue to go from strength to strength.”
The 2021 season is scheduled to get underway at Oulton Park on 25 – 27 June 2021 after a series of tests on British circuits throughout April and May. In total, 11 rounds appear on the 2021 calendar finishing at Brands Hatch on 15 – 17 October 2021.
