After an impressive performance in his first season in the Expert Class of the British Enduro Championship, AJN sponsored, Jake Roper, has made it clear that he wants to be the man to beat.

Having been crowned ACU British Enduro Clubman Champion in 2021, 19-year old Jake took the step up to the extremely competitive Expert Class this year and put in a number of impressive performances over the eight-round championship.

Riding the AJN ‘KTM 250 EXC-F’, Jake, who started racing when he was 11, put big points on the board with two second and two third place finishes in his ‘E1/4’ sub category as well as a top 10 finish overall at Round four of the Championships at Helmsley in Yorkshire.

As well as making his mark in the British Enduro Championships, Jake also finished third overall in the Championship Class of the Eastern Centre Championship following a great ride at the final round at Thetford Forest last Sunday (Sunday 20th November).

Alan Boyden, Joint Managing Director at AJN, comments, “A huge well done to Jake. To do so well in his first season in the Expert Class of the British Enduro Championship is testament to his talent, confidence and ability as an enduro rider. There’s no doubt that he’ll be looking to build on this success next year and I have no doubt that he’ll give his all to achieve his goals.”
