AJN Steelstock continues support of local Children’s hospices
To try and provide a little help to those that need it most, AJN Steelstock has donated £5,000, split equally between the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) in Suffolk and the Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) in Somerset.
The donations – made for the second successive year and in lieu of our usual Christmas ‘thank you’ gifts – will be used to provide emergency, palliative and end of life care for children and young people living with life-threatening conditions.
The East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Offering a family-centred, needs-led approach to care, EACH ensures all needs of the children and young people are met – whether psychological, physical, emotional, social or spiritual. EACH gives families flexibility and control over where they receive their care and support, whether it’s at home, in hospital or at one of its three hospices at The Nook and The Treehouse or Milton.
Similarly, CHSW provides much-needed breaks for families and young people with life-limiting condition, with free services for every family that needs them.
Both charities believe that nothing should get in the way of very sick children and young people receiving the very best care and are committed to making the most of short and precious lives.
