Pro Golfer aims for the pin with AJN Steelstock
Leading UK steel stockholder, AJN Steelstock Limited, which has steel processing sites in Newmarket, Suffolk and Henstridge, Somerset, has announced a two-year sponsorship agreement with local, pro golfer, Alfie Halil.
With AJN’s backing and support, 22-year-old Alfie, a professional at Flempton Golf Club in Bury St Edmunds, can now pursue his dream of playing professional golf at the highest level in the UK and around the world.
No stranger to success, Alfie made history in 2017 when he won the Suffolk Open golf title at just 16 years old. A past Suffolk Amateur Champion and a regular member of the Suffolk County team, Alfie made the decision to turn pro at the end of last year following nine months of uncertainty and treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Having recently received the two-year ‘all-clear’, Alfie is determined to make his mark on the 2024 Clutch Pro Tour and progress to the PGA Challenge and DP World Tour.
