In only his second season in the highly competitive Expert Class, AJN sponsored, Jake Roper, has broken into the Top 10 of the ACU British Enduro Championships.

Competing on some of the most technical and challenging enduro courses throughout the UK and the Isle of Man, the 2021 British Enduro Clubman Champion, put in a string of impressive performances to end the season in P9 overall in the Expert Class and P4 in his E1 sub-category.

Scooping his best combined results of his racing career to date in Rounds 3 and 4 in Helmsley, Yorkshire, as well as a solid run in Rounds 5 and 6 in the Isle of Man, contributed to Jake’s success over the season, which saw him jump over 10 places from his 2022 finish.

Riding a brand new, AJN branded, 250cc Gas Gas, Jake, who started racing when he was 11 years old, is no stranger to success and ranks being crowned the 2021 ACU British Enduro Clubman Champion in his debut season and winning the Clubman Class Eastern Centre Championship at just 16, as some of his best achievements to date.

“The goal for me this year was to get into that top 10 position in the Expert Class of the Championship and we achieved just that”, comments Jake. “When you look at the numbers it’s a massive improvement on last year where I finished in the mid-20s and I couldn’t have done it without the ongoing support from my family, amazing pit crew and of course, the long-term support from AJN Steelstock.”
